This is a four-digit field containing the identification code of the network on which the transaction was authorized. It is important to note that a value of V or 5 in this field (returned in the response) indicates that the transaction was processed as a credit card purchase transaction, even though it was originally submitted as a debit transaction.
When these values (V or 5) are returned, the transaction must be processed and settled as a credit card (non-debit) transaction.
