RB 704 - Transaction amount not numeric or greater than 99,999.99

Transaction Amount is a 12-digit field that is presented in the terminal as right-justified and zero-filled. The terminal does not indicate the decimal position of this field. This field must be numeric and cannot be more than 99,999.99 in value. The system validates the data element type and length of this field.

Possible Cause

Solution

A transaction has an incorrect or invalid transaction amount.
  1. Delete (void) the transaction that caused the RB.
  2. Offline the corrected transaction and re-transmit.

If the Delete (void) feature is not available, delete the batch, offline the corrected transactions, and re-transmit.
