RB B25 - Settlement date not valid MMDD

Settlement Date is a four-digit, numeric field indicating the settlement date returned in the authorization response. The format of this field is MMDD and must be valid. The system validates that the settlement date corresponds with the following format:

MM = month entry must be two digits, 01-12.
DD = day entry must be two digits, 01-31.
Leap year = a valid calendar day 0229 for MMDD is acceptable.

Possible Cause

Solution

Settlement date in the detail record of a debit transaction is not in MMDD format.

Void the transaction causing the RB, and then do an ATM re-enter and re-transmit the batch.

Before voiding the debit transaction, print a Detail report because the whole debit card number will not print on the receipt.
