RB D10 - Requested Authorization Characteristics Indicator (ACI) invalid

Requested ACI is a one-character, alphanumeric field indicating a request for CPS qualification.

Possible Cause

Solution

A transaction has an incorrect or invalid Requested Authorization Characteristics Indicator (ACI).
  1. Delete the transaction that caused the RB.
  2. Offline the corrected transaction and re-transmit.

If the Delete feature is not available, delete the batch, offline corrected transactions, and re-transmit.

The system validates that the Requested ACI corresponds to the format codes identified in the following table:
