RB D22 - Invalid transaction status code

Transaction Status Code is a two-character, alphanumeric field containing the authorization transaction status.

The first byte of this field logs whether or not this item had a reversal transaction transmitted for it.
The second byte logs whether or not the direct debit confirmation record process completed without protocol error. For all credit card transactions, the second byte is set to zero.

Possible Cause

Solution

A transaction has an incorrect or invalid transaction status code.

Delete the transaction that caused the RB.
Offline the corrected transaction and re-transmit.

If the Delete feature is not available, delete the batch, offline corrected transactions, and re-transmit.

This can also be caused by the merchant entering a debit transaction as offline, rather than using the ATM Re-enter selection under the offline prompt.

Delete the transaction that caused the RB.
Offline the debit transaction using the ATM re-enter selection under the Offline prompt.

The system validates that the field corresponds to the following format:
