RB E10/210 - Non-numeric data capture blocking factor

Blocking Factor is a four-digit field indicating how the records are grouped together in a single block. This field must be numeric and all zeros is allowed. The system validates the data element type of blocking factor on the header record.

Solution

Non-numeric data capture blocking factor.

  1. Perform a partial download on the terminal and re-transmit.
  2. If unsuccessful, then master reset and download terminal, offline two transactions, and re-transmit.
