RB K18 - Blocking indicator non-numeric or invalid

Blocking Indicator is a one-character, numeric field that corresponds to the following format:

The data capture header may not be blocked with the other records in the batch. The system validates the data type element of this field.

Possible Cause

Solution

Non-numeric data capture blocking factor.
  1. Perform a master terminal reset and download the terminal.
  2. Offline two or three transactions initially and re-transmit.
  3. If transmission is successful, offline the remaining transactions and re-transmit.
