RB T 508 - Gross amount not equal to sum of transaction amounts in all detail records or amount not numeric

Gross Amount is a 16-digit, numeric field that is the total of all transaction amounts in the detail record.

The valid transaction amounts in the detail record are totaled in the Gross Amount field, excluding any invalid transactions amounts.
The system validates the data element type and length of this field.
This field does not include VOID Transaction Amount in the PS2K application.

Possible Cause	Solution
Incorrect or invalid gross amount	Retain and re-transmit the batch. If the error still occurs, delete the batch and offline one or two transactions and re-transmit. If the error occurs after the batch has been deleted, perform a master reset and download the terminal. Offline one or two transactions initially and re-transmit. If this action is successful, offline the remaining transactions and re-transmit.
