Host Open Batch

This report enables you to view authorizations that are in the current host capture batch for the merchant.

Note: Open Batch functionality is available to Host Capture participants only; access to this report is dependent upon user permissions.

At this report, you can:

• Filter the report based on specific values in any of these fields:

  If a report has a Show Filter Options link, it means you can filter the report based on specific field values.

  To filter a report:

  1. Select Show Filter Options.

     

     The page refreshes to show the filter options fields and buttons; for example:

     

  2. Enter information in any of the filter options fields to report on those specific criteria.
  3. Select Submit.

     The report refreshes to show the filtered results.

  4. Select Reset to return to the original, unfiltered list.

     Tip: To hide the filter options, select Hide Filter Options.

  • Store

    A four-digit number that identifies a merchant location. Store is the fifth level of the front-end hierarchy. They contain Terminals and roll up into Merchants. If a merchant has only one location, the Store number should be 0001.

  • Term

    The terminal number.

  • Consumer Account Number

    The consumer account number for the transaction. This can be a credit card number for a card transaction or a DDA number for an ACH transaction.

  • Expected Batch ID

    An incrementing number assigned by TSYS Acquiring Solutions Host to identify a terminal batch.

  • Date Time
  • Auth Number

    The authorization code for the transaction.

  • Amount

    The dollar value associated with a transaction or set of transactions.

  For example, enter a Consumer Account Number to view authorizations for that consumer account number only.

• View details of a specific authorization by selecting the appropriate entry in the Consumer Account Number column.
