Settlement Summary

This report enables you to view a daily summary of deposits broken out by card type and transaction type for the merchant. This can help you verify transactions and amounts that have settled within a specific time frame.

In the settlement process, funds from a transaction may be transferred to various locations. The settlement summary shows totals for transactions that have completed the settlement process.

The Posted Payment Type Summary section shows a summary of settled and non-settled posted payments by card type and transaction type. The Non-Posted Payment Type Summary section shows a summary of non-posted payments by card type and transaction type.

Note: Posted transactions will show on the merchant statement, whereas non-posted transactions will not.

Also, settled transactions are funded by the acquirer, whereas non-settled transactions are funded by another party, such as American Express or Discover.

To view more detailed information:

1. In the Payment Type section, select one of the Total amounts to open the appropriate Settlement Details report.
2. At any of these report pages, select a Consumer Account Number to open the Transaction Detail report for that consumer account.
3. To return to the previous report page, select the Back to Settlement Summary link.
