Adding Action Items

Based upon security group and user permissions, some users can add action items to a work item in the work queue.

To add an action item to a work item:

  1. Open the Work Item detail.
  2. Select Add Action Item.

    The page refreshes to show the Action Item details.

  3. From the Type drop-down list, select the appropriate action item type.
  4. Enter the required Action By date, or select the calendar icon calendar and select the date from the pop-up calendar.
  5. Enter any comments and select the Private Notes check box, if required.
  6. From the Outcome Code drop-down list, select the appropriate action outcome code.
  7. Select Update.
