On the Update a User - General Information page, any update made to the User Email address will automatically synchronize with the Okta database. In the event that the synchronization fails, you will need to reset the MFA factor for the user.
The Reset MFA Factor page opens verifying the reset, and an Okta Notice of email address change email notifying of the reset is sent to the current User Email address for the user.
Note: If the synchronization still fails, a second-level help representative will need to review the content of the Okta database and make a correction.
