Chargeback Ratio

This report enables you to track monthly chargebacks for all card brands, including Visa Rapid Dispute Resolution (RDR) transactions for participating merchants. RDR is a chargeback reduction service offered by Verifi, a Visa company.

The report includes monthly totals for:

• Sales counts and amounts ($)
• Credits counts and amounts ($)
• Chargeback counts and amounts ($)
• Chargeback to sales ratio (%)

The Chargeback Filter drop-down menu provides these options:

• All Chargebacks
• Visa Chargebacks Excluding RDR
• Visa RDR Transactions
• Mastercard Chargebacks
• American Express Chargebacks: Includes chargebacks for External Sales Agent (ESA) merchants.
• Discover Chargebacks
• PayPal Chargebacks
• Other: Includes all payment types not already listed in the report.

Note: The Chargeback Ratio report does not exactly match Processing Snapshot data because they use different data sources with different timeframes to propagate the data.
