Capture Date
Date the data was captured by the client or the client’s data capture vendor, in the MM/DD/YYYY format.
Card Acceptor ID (CAI)
For MasterCard, identifies the card acceptor (merchant) for the transaction in both local and interchange environments. It is used as a merchant ID to uniquely identify the merchant in a POS transaction, and is required for all MasterCard programs and services.
Card Expire Date
The year and month after which a card expires and is no longer valid for cardholder use.
Card Plan
The Transaction Information screen and the P&V Details screen will indicate Discover/JCB in with the 2-character plan code, DJ.
Card Type
- Indicates the type of card, such as Visa or MasterCard, that was used in the transaction.
- For Visa, a one-character alphabetic code that indicates the card type represented by an entry in the ARDEF Table. For example, P represents Visa Gold.
Cardholder Account Number
The billing account number for the card that was used in the transaction.
Cardholder ID Method
Indicates how the cardholder was identified at the time of the transaction. For MasterCard, known as the Cardholder Authentication Method.
Possible values for Visa:
- <Space>: Not specified
- 1: Signature
- 2: PIN
- 3: Unattended terminal; no PIN pad
- 4: Mail/Telephone or Electronic Commerce
Possible values for MasterCard:
- 0: Not authenticated
- 1: PIN
- 2: Electronic signature analysis
- 5: Manual signature verification
- 6: Other manual verification (such as a driver’s license number)
- 9: Unknown; data not available
- S: Other systematic verification
Cash Back Amount (Cashback Amount)
The currency amount that is paid out when a "purchase with cash back" transaction occurs.
CAT (CAT Indicator)
The Cardholder-Activated Terminal (CAT) Indicator identifies the type of terminal used to process the transaction. For Visa, also known as Unattended Acceptance Terminal Indicator (UAT).
Possible values for Visa:
- <Space>: Not applicable to this transaction.
- 1: Type A UAT (Limited amount terminal).
- 2: Type C UAT (Automated dispensing machine).
- 3: Type B UAT (Self-service terminal).
- 4: Remote Indicator.
Possible values for MasterCard:
- <Space>: Terminal type data unknown or not available.
- 1: CAT level 1 (automated dispensing machine).
- 2: CAT level 2 (self-service terminal).
- 3: CAT level 3 (limited amount terminal).
- 4: CAT level 4 (in-flight commerce terminal).
- 6: CAT level 6 (electronic commerce transaction).
- 7: CAT level 7 (transponders).
Chip CVM
Cardholder Verification Method Result: indicates the results of the last CVM performed.
Chip TVR
Terminal Verification Results: status of the different functions as seen from the terminal.
Consumer Account Number
The card or check account number used in a client’s transaction.
Convenience Dollar Amount Tolerance
- If the MCC is 5541 or 5542, no dollar amount tolerance test is performed.
- If the MCC is 5499 or 7832, transactions less than $10.00 or transactions greater than $10.00 with a 10% or less variance between the authorization message and the clearing record are eligible.
- If the MCC is 5814, transactions less than $25.00 or transactions greater than $25.00 with a 25% or less variance between the authorization message and the clearing record are eligible.
Conversion Rate
- For Visa, either a wholesale market rate or a government-mandated rate in effect one day prior to the BASE II processing date. This rate is applied by Visa International to certain transactions (original sales drafts, representments, travel vouchers, credit vouchers, and cash disbursements) and the reversal of such transactions.
- For MasterCard, this rate is multiplied by the non-U.S. dollar amount to determine the U.S. dollar equivalent or the U.S. dollar amount is divided by this rate to determine the non-U.S. dollar amount.
Country
Indicates the three-digit ISO numeric currency code for the country in which the transaction originated. (Auth. element.)
Credit/Debit Indicator
You can select the option to display Credit, Debit, or both (All) types of transactions.
# Credits
Total number of credits for the statement period.
$ Credits
Total dollar amount of credits for the statement period.
Currency Code
