The Profitability Ranking report lists a bank's associations or merchants by monthly volume and profitability totals.
The page refreshes and Profitability monthly report options become available.
The page refreshes and Profitability Analysis filter criteria become available.
If data for the selected criteria are available, the report appears.
Important: You can sort the data by any column in the report. The number in the Rank column, however, remains with its original record. To return to the original sorting sequence, click the Rank column.
The report is available at both the association and merchant levels. In addition to the fields described in the "Fields common to all reports" section, the reports include unique fields based on the selected level. These fields are described in the following table:

The six-digit number that indicates the association to which a merchant belongs. The name of the association to which a merchant belongs. |

A number assigned by TSYS that identifies the merchant. The merchant's DBA (Doing Business As) name. |
Profitability ranking criteria
The Profitability Ranking report is available for numerous ranking criteria. In addition to the fields described in the "Fields common to all reports" section, the reports include unique fields based on the selected ranking criterion. These fields are described in the following table:

The report includes the following data for both association and merchant profitability levels, and for all ranking criteria:
The numerical identifier assigned to a row of data on the report after ranking a list of merchants of associations.
The number of sales divided by the amount of sales.
The amount of income to the acquirer generated by interchange fees charged to the merchants.
The amount of profit or loss for a particular merchant or association based on the acquirer's income minus expense.
