Pricing Fee Items Override Report

The Pricing Fee Items Override Report displays fee items that are in an override status in Pricing Profiles.

For example, if a bank-level fee for Compliance exists in a hierarchy pricing profile, and there are five merchant pricing profiles that have overridden this compliance fee, those five merchants and their corresponding compliance fees will appear in this report.

To run the report:

1. Select Reports, and then under Pricing Reports, select Pricing Fee Items Override.

   

   The Pricing Fee Items Override Report page opens.

   

2. Enter your report criteria.

   Criteria Notes

   • Where a list icon or lookup icon is provided, click it to open a box where you can search for and select the criterion you want to search or report on.
   • In the Group ID and Association ID fields, you can specify a range of values by using a dash (-) between the low and high end values, and search on multiple values by using a comma (,) between each value.
   • These special characters cannot be used: : ` ^ = " < > [ ] |
   • Do not enter spaces before or after text entires.

   • Group
   • Association
   • Merchant Number
   • Fee Item Location

     From the drop-down list, you can select one of these fee item locations to report on:

     • Merchant Profile
     • Pricing Template
     • ERG
     • Hierarchy Profile
     • Merchant & Hierarchy Profile
   • Fee Category

     These fee categories are available for selection:

     • Authorization Other

       Fees associated with the authorization of a transaction not captured under the Authorization Transaction category.

     • Authorization Transactions

       Fees associated with the authorization of a transaction.

     • Card Brand Fees

       Acquirer type fees established by the major card brands, such as MC, NABU, VS TIF, and DS Data Usage.

     • Data Capture Other

       Other capture related fees. For example, Level 3.

     • Data Capture Transactions

       Fees associated with closing out terminal, sending batches, or settling online transactions (not funded).

     • Debit Network

       Fees for the network association or issuing bank. The surcharge for calling into the network for processing, PIN based debit only (online debit).

     • Discount

       Base discount fee based on sales activity or card type.

     • EBT

       Fees associated with Electronic Benefits Transfer.

     • Exceptions

       Fees for exception-type of activity, such as chargebacks, adjustments, and retrievals.

     • Interchange

       Fees as defined by major card brands.

     • Individual Plan

       Fees based on card type and/or transaction type, such as sales, cash and credit (returns).

     • MISC Fixed Fees

       Miscellaneous fixed fees, typically for non-transactional time-frame related services, such as training, residency, profile builds, and terminal downloads.

     • MISC Per Item Fees

       Miscellaneous per item fees, typically for front-end products and services, such as call center help, training, residency, profile builds, and terminal downloads.

3. Select the Offline Export Format you require, and enter the Offline Report Name (or accept the default) to help you identify the report later in the Offline Repository.
4. Select the Include Criteria On Report check box if required.
5. Select Generate.

   The Offline Repository page opens.

   Report results and search results can be generated while you continue to work. These results will be located in the Offline Repository. Once the report is finished running, the Report Name will become a link which the user can select in order to access the report output and an email notification is sent to the user.

   • Each user will have their own Offline Repository.
   • Users may generate up to 40 offline reports per day.
   • The offline reports will be assigned one of the following statuses:
     • Pending: The user has launched the report and it is waiting to run.
     • In Progress: The system is currently running the report.
     • Available: The system has finished running the report and it is available to view.
     • Deleted: The user has deleted the report.
   • The Expires By column is the date the report expires, after which the report is no longer accessible by the user.
     • Reports are set to expire after 4 calendar days.
     • Reports are available up through end of day on the Expiration Date.

   To access the Offline Repository,

   1. Select Offline Repository.

      

      The screen displays a list of available reports.

   2. Select a Report Name to open or save that report.

      Select the delete icon for a report you want to delete.

      -or-

      Select Refresh to update the status of the offline report listing.

   

6. Once your report has run and its Status appears as Available (select Refresh as required), select its Report Name to open or save it.
