Edit Effective Dates / Rates

Note: Multiple effective rates can be added to a single Fee Item.

To add/edit an Effective Date/Rate:

  1. Perform an Expense Rate Group search, and then select the required Expense Rate Group (ERG).

    -or-

    Perform an Income Rate Group search, and then select the required Income Rate Group (IRG).

    -or-

    Perform a Merchant Pricing search, and then select the required merchant number.

  2. From the fee item listing, select the Fee Item Name or the Configure icon for the fee item you want to update.

    The Update Fee Item box opens.

  3. Select Effective Dates/Rates.

    The box refreshes to list the current rate and any effective rates that may be in place.

  4. Select the Effective Date you want to update.

  5. Enter the Stop Date to indicate when the current rates should cease to be in effect.

    Note: With an existing, completed Fee Item (one that is not in a work-in-progress status), you cannot change the Start Date to a date prior to the current date. If the existing Fee Item has an incorrect Start Date that should be earlier than the current date, delete the Fee Item and then add a new one with the correct Start Date.

  6. Select Done, and then select Update to save the changes.
