You can add, view, and edit bank statement messages that appear on merchant statements for public relations purposes. The messages can be targeted to banks or specific reporting levels, such as groups, associations, and individual merchants. Each entity can be the target of one message; however, messages can be directed to multiple targets.
Although you cannot actually delete a bank statement message, you can prevent the message from appearing on bank statements by using the edit procedure to clear the Bank Is Target check box and remove any Group Targets, Association Targets, and Merchant Targets set up for the message.
Should you need to restore the message's appearance on statements at a later date, you can use the edit procedure to reconfigure those settings.
