On January 16, 2026, the Vericentre download servers were decommissioned. As a result, downloads from this system are no longer possible. Attempts to complete a scheduled update will fail.

As part of this decommission, the Verifone devices using legacy retail, restaurant, and cash advance software (XEVA440 and ENGAGE) are scheduled for retirement. TSYS Express and MMS no longer support adding new or maintaining existing profiles for these devices.

Devices in use will continue to be supported as long as a download is not required. If an issue is unable to be resolved except by completing a download, that is where support ends. In other words, we can support callers up to the point where a download is needed; at that point support stops and an alternative processing solution is required (refer the caller to their merchant services provider according to current policies).

Important: When a terminal file is upgraded from a retired application to Pay App, the file must be deleted and a new file built with the Pay App options in TSYS Express. The file will not board correctly to TransIT if a terminal profile is updated to Pay App.
