Chip Transaction Indicator

One-digit code set by the acquirers when they receive the message from the terminal to indicate a VSDC transaction.

Chip Authentication Reliability Indicator

One-digit code indicating the reliability of card authentication in a VSDC transaction. Acquirers set this code when they are experiencing problems with a merchant or terminal, and Visa sets the code when either the acquirer or issuer is inactive for card authentication.

Two-digit code:

For electronic commerce transactions, it identifies the level of security used in an electronic commerce transaction over an open network (for example, the Internet).
