Create a Custom Hierarchy

To create a custom hierarchy:

  1. From the Reports menu, select Custom Hierarchy.

    The Custom Hierarchy Administration page opens.

  2. Select Add A Custom Hierarchy.

    The Add Custom Hierarchy page opens.

  3. Make sure the Create a Custom Hierarchy option is selected (this is the default).
  4. Enter information in these mandatory fields:
  5. In the remaining fields, enter appropriate criteria for the merchants you want included in the hierarchy:
  6. Select Create Custom Hierarchy.

    Note: If your criteria yield more than 100 merchants, this message box opens:

    authandcap_add_custom_hierarchy_100

    Select OK, adjust your criteria accordingly, and select Create Custom Hierarchy again.

    Providing you have entered sufficient criteria, the page refreshes to list the merchants meeting your criteria.

  7. Make sure the check box for each merchant you want to include in the custom hierarchy is selected.

    Tip: Select Toggle Checkboxes to clear or select the check boxes for all the merchants listed.

  8. Select Create Custom Hierarchy.
