RB 311/F11 - Terminal serial number (V #) is not numeric or is zeros

Terminal Serial Number is an eight-digit field identifying the terminal in the terminal support system. The terminal serial number must be numeric and cannot contain all zeros. The system validates the data element type of this field.

Possible Cause

Solution

The terminal serial number stored in the terminal is incorrect.

  1. If valid, retain the batch and re-transmit.
  2. If invalid, correct the serial number (V #) in the terminal and re-transmit.
