RB 408/A08/B08/G08/H08 - Cardholder account info source must be H, D, X, T, or @

Cardholder Account Information Source is a one-character, alphanumeric field that indicating the source of cardholder account information for the transaction. This field is also generated by the terminal.

Cardholder account information source is not H, D, X, T, or @.

Entering incorrect data for the Audit info on an offline transaction can cause this RB.

Delete (void) the transaction that caused the RB.
Offline the corrected transaction and re-transmit.

If the Delete (void) feature is not available, delete the batch, offline the corrected transactions, and re-transmit.

The system validates the cardholder account information source (source indicating whether card data was read electronically or entered manually) corresponds with the codes noted in the following table:

D	Data was read at a magnetic stripe reader (track 2).
X	Data was manually-entered at a magnetic stripe reader (track 1).
T	Data was manually-entered at a magnetic stripe reader (track 2).
@	Data was manually-entered; terminal does not have electronic card-reading capability.
