RB 408/A08/B08/G08/H08 - Cardholder Account Info Source Must Be H, D, X, T, or @

The Cardholder Account Information Source is a one-character alphanumeric field that is designed to indicate the source of cardholder account information for the transaction. This field is also generated by the terminal.

Solution

Cardholder Account Information Source is not H, D, X, T, or @.

Note: Keying in incorrect data for the Audit info on an offline transactions can cause this RB. Please click here for more info.
  1. Delete the transaction that invoked an RB.
  2. Offline the corrected transaction and re-transmit.

Note: If the delete feature is not available, delete the batch, offline corrected transactions, and re-transmit.

Sierra validates the Cardholder Account Information Source (source indicating whether card data was read electronically or entered manually) corresponds with the following codes in the table:
