RB 409/A09/B09/G09/H09 - Cardholder Identification Method Not Valid - Must Be @, A, or N

The Cardholder Identification code is a one-character alphanumeric field that is designed to indicate the method used to identify cardholder.

Possible Cause

Solution

Cardholder Identification Method not valid.
  1. Delete the transaction that invoked an RB.
  2. Offline the corrected transaction and re-transmit.

Note: If the delete feature is not available, delete the batch, offline corrected transactions, and re-transmit.
