RB 413/A13/B13/G13/H13 - Authorization number is a six alphanumeric field

This field is generated upon authorization of online transactions. This field is also manually entered in the terminal for offline transactions. It is presented as left-justified and should not begin with a zero or space. The system validates the data element type and length of this field.

Possible Cause

Solution

Authorization Number must be alphanumeric.
  1. Delete (void) the transaction that caused the RB.
  2. Offline the corrected transaction and re-transmit.

If the Delete (void) feature is not available, delete the batch, offline the corrected transactions, and re-transmit.
