RB 620 - DC Locator code is not numeric or contains all zeros

Location Number is a five-digit field that could be used as a physical merchant location number, store location number, or terminal location number, depending upon merchant usage. This field must be numeric and cannot contain all zeros. The system validates the data element type of this field.

Possible Causes

Solutions

Incorrect location number in the download file.
  1. Correct the location number and retain the batch.
  2. Perform a partial download and re-transmit the batch.

The terminal data for this field may be corrupt.

Verify the location number in the terminal.

  • If valid, retain the batch and re-transmit.
  • If invalid, correct the location number in the terminal and re-transmit.
