RB 727 - Void indicator not valid, must be 'V' or blank

The VOID Transaction indicator is a one-character, alphanumeric field used to indicate transactions that were voided. The system validates the data element type for this field with the following:

V = VOID transactions
Space = non-VOID transactions

Possible Cause

Solution

A transaction has an incorrect or invalid VOID indicator.

Delete the transaction that caused an RB.
Offline the corrected transaction and re-transmit.

If the Delete (void) feature is not available, delete the batch, offline the corrected transactions, and re-transmit.
