RB 903 - Invalid transaction code or invalid TC for card type

Transaction Code is a one-character, alphanumeric field used to identify the type of transaction on the terminal.

Possible Cause

Solution

A transaction has an incorrect or invalid Transaction Code.
  1. Delete the transaction that caused the RB.
  2. Offline the corrected transaction and re-transmit.
  3. If the Delete feature is not available, delete the batch, offline corrected transactions, and re-transmit.

The system validates that the transaction code matches a code noted in the following table:
