RB D26 - Cashback amount non-numeric or invalid

Cashback Amount is a 12-digit, numeric field that is right-justified on the terminal and must be zero-filled.

The value of this field must be 000000000001-000009999999.
This field contains the cashback amount requested in the Secondary Amount field in the authorization request and is included in the settlement amount.
The system validates the data element type and length of this field.

Possible Cause

Solution

A transaction has an incorrect or invalid cashback amount.

If the Delete feature is not available, delete the batch, offline corrected transactions, and re-transmit.
