RB D37 - Check-out not in YYMMDD format or invalid

Check-out Date is a six-digit field indicating the date a customer checked out of a hotel. The date format is YYMMDD, where the entry must be numeric and valid.

For a VISA Advanced or pre-pay deposit, this field must be zero-filled.
For AMEX cards, this field must be in valid YYMMDD format if the Merchant/Charge Type field is set to 1.

The system validates that the check-out date corresponds to the following format:

YY = year must be two digits for the current year.
MM = month must be two digits, 01-12.
DD = day must be two digits, 01-31.

Possible Cause

Solution

A transaction has an incorrect or invalid check-out date.

Delete the transaction that caused the RB.
Offline the corrected transaction and re-transmit.

f the Delete feature is not available, delete the batch, offline corrected transactions, and re-transmit.
