RB D52 - System trace audit number invalid

System Trace Audit Number is a six-character, alphanumeric field that is returned in the authorization response message. The trace audit number must be printed on the receipt. The system validates the data element type and length of this field.

Possible Cause

Solution

A transaction has an incorrect or invalid system trace audit number.
  1. Delete the transaction that caused the RB.
  2. Offline the corrected transaction and re-transmit.

If the Delete feature is not available, delete the batch, offline corrected transactions, and re-transmit.
