RB D54 - Settlement date not in MMDD format or invalid

Settlement Date is a four-digit field returned in the authorization response message. The date format is MMDD, where the entry must be numeric and valid.

The system validates that the settlement date corresponds to the following format:

For MM, the month entry must be two digits, 01-12.
For DD, the day entry must be two digits, 01-31.

Possible Cause

Solution

A transaction has an incorrect or invalid settlement date.

Delete the transaction that caused the RB.
Offline the corrected transaction and re-transmit.

If the Delete feature is not available, delete the batch, offline corrected transactions, and re-transmit.
