RB F09 - Merchant category code not numeric or not in merchant category code table

Merchant Category Code is a four-digit number assigned by the member to the merchant to correspond to the description of the merchant's primary business. The merchant category code must be numeric and must be listed in the Merchant Category Code table. The system validates that the merchant category code matches entities in the Category Code table.

Correct the merchant category code and retain the batch.
Perform a partial download and re-transmit the batch.

The terminal data for this field may be corrupt.

Verify the merchant category code in the terminal.

If valid, retain the batch and re-transmit.
If invalid, correct the merchant category code in the terminal and re-transmit.
