RB K16 - Batch transmission date not in MMDD format or invalid

Batch Transmission Date is a four-digit field. The date format is MMDD, where the entry must be numeric and valid. The system validates that the batch transmission date corresponds to the following format:

Incorrect batch transmission date in the download file.

  1. Correct the batch transmission date and retain the batch.
  2. Perform a partial download and re-transmit the batch.

The terminal data for this field may be corrupt.

Verify the batch transmission date in the terminal.

  • If valid, retain the batch and re-transmit.
  • If invalid, perform a partial download and re-transmit the batch.

POS Partner - PC sending future date with batch, but PC date is correct.

  1. Set the regional date in the PC to future date, then back to the correct date.
  2. Have the user verify there are no approved transactions in Authorization Review/Edit Transactions, which could be inadvertently mixed up with this batch.
  3. Then:
    • From the Settlement menu, select Re-create Authorization Transactions.
    • From the Authorization menu, select Create Settlement Transactions. This action puts the transactions in a new batch with a new batch number
    • Re-transmit.
