RB T 506 - Trailer batch number must match header batch number

Batch Number is a three-digit field containing a batch sequence number generated by the terminal.

• The format of this field is numeric and should be 001-999.
• This field is used by the system to identify the batches transmitted and to the verify data element type and length of this field.
• The system also ensures that the batch number in the trailer record matches the batch number in the header record.
