RB T 842 - Gross amount not equal sum of transaction amounts in all detail records or amount not numeric

Gross Amount is a 16-digit, numeric field that is the total of all transaction amounts in the detail record. The valid transaction amounts in the detail record are totaled in the Gross Amount field, excluding any invalid transaction amounts. The system validates the data element type and length of this field. This field does not include VOID Transaction Amount in the PS2K application.

Solution

Incorrect or invalid gross amount
  1. Perform a master reset and download the terminal.
  2. Offline the transactions and re-transmit.
