RB V 010 - Sierra does not recognize BIN or batch number; or network traffic routing overload

Batch Number is a three-digit field containing a batch sequence number generated by the terminal. The format of this field is numeric, should be within the range of 001-999, and cannot contain all zeros. The BIN is a six-digit field.

Possible Cause

Solution

The system does not recognize BIN or batch number or Network traffic routing overload.

  1. If it is a network routing problem, retain and instruct to transmit at a later time.
  2. Check the download file to verify the batch number or BIN is correct. If not valid, correct the batch numbers and BIN. Retain the batch, perform a partial download, and re-transmit.
  3. If the download file is correct, the terminal data for these fields may be corrupt. Verify the batch numbers and BIN in the terminal.
  4. If valid, retain the batch and re-transmit.
  5. If invalid, correct the batch numbers or BIN in the terminal and retain the batch. Perform a partial download and re-transmit.
