Viewing the Authorization Summary

The Authorization Summary displays a summary list of authorizations. You can access a summary of authorizations by day for an individual store, or for a range of days up to seven—by merchant, store, or terminal.

There are two methods to access an authorization summary:

Method 1:

• From the Daily Summary, you can drill down to the store level and click the Authorization Amount link.

Once you access a daily authorization summary, you can also change the date to view a summary of authorizations for a different day.

Method 2:

• Click Inquiry on the menu bar to display the drop-down list.
• Select Authorization, as shown in the following figure:

  

  When the Authorization Inquiry page displays:

  

1. Enter the BIN, merchant, and store information
2. Enter the appropriate date, if necessary (you can query up to seven days of authorization data).
3. Click Refresh.

   The Authorization Summary matching the search criteria you entered displays.

   

Additionally, you can:

• Click any link from the Consumer Account Number column to view authorization detail for a specific authorization record.
• Click the Output icon to download or print the summarized list of authorizations.
• View data elements in the Authorization Summary. Refer to Authorization Summary Data Elements.
