Add a group to an association

To add a group to an association:

1. Search for the association to open the Association Summary page for that association.

   To search for an association:

   1. Open the Advanced Search - Merchant Search page.

      Express enables you to locate submitted back-end entities and banking elements using hierarchy and demographic information. To search for a merchant accounting entity, browse to the Advanced Search - Merchant Accounting Search page, then enter search criteria based on the entity you are trying to find.

      Search results are validated against the permissions associated with your User ID. If your search does not return the expected result, ensure that your search criteria are valid, then verify with your System Administrator that you have the appropriate level of access.

      Note: Front-end only clients cannot search for merchant accounting entities.

      To open the Advanced Search - Merchant Search page:

      1. From the Express Homepage, in the Other Searches panel, click the Advanced Search link.

         Tip: Click Main to open the Express Homepage.

         

         -or-

         From the Admin menu, click Advanced Search.

         

         The Advanced Search - Merchant Search page opens.

         

   2. In the Other Searches panel, from the Accounting Entity drop-down list, select Association.

      

   3. Click Select.

      The Advanced Search - Merchant Accounting Search page opens.

      

   4. Enter information to search on in any of these fields:
      • Bank Number

        A four-digit number assigned by TSYS Acquiring Solutions to identify the banks that a client has configured for processing. Also, the number of the bank to which the existing association rule table information is being copied.

      • Association

        A six-digit number that identifies the association connected to the merchant. Associations are used to provide additional structure and detail for back-end reporting.

      • Association Name
   5. Click Search.

      The Search Results page opens listing the associations that meet your search criteria.

      

   6. To download the search results in CSV format, click the Download button.
   7. To view an association summary, click the Bank Number for the association you want to view.

      The Association Summary page for that association opens.

      

2. From the Association Quick Links, click Association Reporting Hierarchy.

   

   The Association Reporting Hierarchy page for that association opens.

3. Click Edit.
4. In the next available Group # field, enter the group number you want to add to the association.

   

5. Click Validate.
