Underwriter Rep Name: The name of the underwriting representative.
Underwriting Status
This read-only field indicates the status of the underwriting process for the merchant. If this field is blank, it indicates the Underwriting feature is not in use. Otherwise, the possible values are:
- Conversion: The merchant was boarded before the Underwriting feature was turned on, and there is no Underwriting Checklist for the merchant.
- Waiting for Underwriting: The merchant's underwriting process has not yet begun in the Underwriting Queue.
- In Progress: The merchant's underwriting process has begun, and is not yet complete.
- Pended: There is an outstanding issue regarding the merchant's underwriting application; refer to the Underwriting Support Team.
- Declined: The merchant's underwriting application was completed and not approved.
- Canceled: The merchant decided to not proceed with the underwriting process.
- Approved: The merchant's underwriting application was approved and can be boarded.
Note: This field does not appear for Front End Only merchants.
Updated By: The User ID of the individual who updated the record.
Usage Codes
Three-character usage codes are assigned to each name and address record, and determine how the record is used. All usage codes can be assigned to one address, or they can be individually assigned to different records. The usage codes cannot be assigned to more than one name and address record. Usage Description: The text description that accompanies a usage code.
Use Floor Limits: When this check box is selected, it enables floor limits/quick service functionality for the card range, and these related fields in the Floor Limits panel become available:
Receipt Floor LimitThe lowest transaction amount for which the terminal will print a receipt.
QPS Receipt OptionThe Quick Payment Service receipt option, which determines the circumstances under which a terminal will print a receipt for quick service transactions. These are the options available:
- 0 - None
- 1 - Prompt Customer
- 2 - Customer Only
- 4 - Merchant Only
- 10 - Both - Confirm
- 18 - Both - Auto
Auth Floor LimitThe transaction amount below which the terminal generates its own approval codes.
Signature Floor LimitThe lowest transaction amount for which the terminal will print a signature line on the receipt.
Use in BET Assignment Menus: Checking this box will add the Current BET table to the BET assignment menu, which can be used to access BET tables without having to perform a search. When this box is chacked, a BET Description is required.
Use Legal Address: If selected, indicates that the Merchant's "00" name and address record will be used.
User: The user who entered the selected note.
User Bank Number: A user-defined bank number used for reporting purposes.
User Data: User-defined information for this association.
User ID: On the:
- Global Audit page, the User ID is the alpha-numeric log-on ID for a particular user.
- EOD and Exception reports, the User ID refers to the individual who submitted the merchant or terminal.
- Notes pages, the User ID indicates either user who entered the note or the user who resolved the note.
Utility (UTL): Indicates that the merchant is eligible for this Visa program.
