Valid for PayPal (MCC/SIC Information page): The value Y or N indicates whether or not the MCC is approved for PayPal acceptance.

Validate Expiration Date: Enables the terminal to verify that the card has not expired.

Validation Confirmed: Identifies merchants for which PCI validation is confirmed.

Validation Required: Identifies merchants who are required to undergo PCI validation.

Value To Check: A comparison value used to monitor account activity.

Variable Rate Tables: Allows you to select a variable rate table to view or edit.

Vendor: Identifies the vendor who captured the original transaction.

Verify 1st 4 Digits (Cash Advance): Prompts the terminal to key in the last four digits of the credit card number.

Verify last 4 Digits: Prompts the terminal to key in the last four digits of the credit card number.

Verify Totals: When this check box is selected, the terminal prompts the merchant to verify manually the totals in a batch before auto close can take place.

View: Allows you to switch between different page views.

View Mismatched Counts Only: If selected, the MAS or MMA Backfeed Report will display only records that have mismatched counts in the MAS or MMS backfeed count file. If not selected, the report will display all records.

Views: Allows you to change the type of information that is displayed on the page.

Virtual Net® Partners: The partner that provides the merchants software for the terminal.

Visa: Activates Visa as an interchange category.

Visa Contact Floor Limit (Terminal VAR Details page): The dollar amount below which the EMV Visa transaction can be processed offline if the chip allows.

Visa Contact Max % (Terminal VAR Details page): The maximum percentage of random EMV VISA transactions that can go offline.

Visa Contact Min % (Terminal VAR Details page): The minimum percentage of random EMV VISA transactions that can go offline.

Visa Debit Consent CNP: This is only available to Canadian acquirers. The value Y or N in this field indicates whether or not the merchant has consented to process Visa Debit Card Not Present (CNP) transactions.

Visa Debit Consent CP: This is only available to Canadian acquirers. The value Y or N in this field indicates whether or not the merchant has consented to process Visa Debit Card Present (CP) transactions.

Visa Description: Describes the type of business conducted by the merchant.

Visa MCC: The merchant's four-digit Merchant Category Code (MCC) for Visa.

Visa Member ID: The member identification number assigned by Visa.

Visa Partner Program (VPP): Indicates the merchants participation in a special program for merchants that are registered with Visa.

Visa Retail Key Entered: Allows AVS options to be enabled for key entered transactions.

Vital Service Number: A unique identification number applied to terminals. Also referred to as a V Number.

Vital Service Number for New Terminal: The Service Number for the terminal that will be receiving wireless service.

Vital Reporting Services (VRS): Indicates that the merchant is using TSYS Acquiring Solutions (formerly Vital) Reporting Services.

V Number: A unique identification number applied to terminals.

Voice ID: The identification number that the merchant should provide to their Voice Authorization Center (VAC) when calling for a voice approval. The criteria for an acceptable voice ID format is determined by the VAC and will vary. The number entered in this field must be in the appropriate format.

Voice Referral Allowed: Enables voice referral dialing for JCB. Voice referral dialing allows the terminal to automatically dial for voice authorization.

Void: Indicates that void transactions require a PIN.

Void Key: The terminal requires a password whenever this key is selected from the terminal.

Void Manager: Indicates that this function is password protected.

Void Operator: Indicates that this function is password protected.

Volume: Volume ranges for the Bank Variable Rate Tables associated with a bank. Value range is from five to nine characters.

VPP: See Visa Partner Program.

VRS: See Vital Reporting Services.
