Configure store descriptors

Store descriptor information is demographic and account data that is created automatically when a terminal is added to Express. This information is inherited by each of the store's terminals, or you can create a new store descriptor. Express allows you to modify or delete this information at any time, with the changes you make reflected in each associated terminal record.

To configure a store descriptor:

  1. If a merchant's terminal is not already in context, search for a terminal.
  2. From any of the merchant's Terminal-related screens, from the Quick Links menu, click Store Descriptor Information.

    The Store Descriptor Information page opens.

  3. Click the Edit button.
  4. Enter values in required fields and optional fields, as needed.
  5. To delete the store descriptor, click the Delete button.

  6. To board the store descriptor, click the Board button.
