RB 414/A14/B14/G14/H14 - Transaction Sequence Not Numeric

The Transaction Sequence Number is a four-digit code generated by the terminal as a sequence number used to identify the transactions included in the batch. This field should be in numeric format and should range between 0001-9999. Sierra validates the data element type and length of this field.

Possible Cause

Solution

Transaction sequence number not numeric.
  1. Delete/void the transaction that invoked an RB.
  2. Offline the corrected transaction and re-transmit.

Note: If the delete/void feature is not available, delete the batch, offline corrected transactions, and re-transmit.
