RB 017 - Invalid Diners card number

Diners Card Number is a 14-character, alphanumeric field that is left-justified and space-filled. The system checks the data type and length of this field and validates the Diners card number on the card profile, based upon low and high account range and card type.

For this rejected batch, review the following table for possible cause and solution:

Solution

An incorrect Diners card number was entered.
  1. Delete (void) the transaction.
  2. Offline the corrected transaction into the terminal and re-transmit.

 

Note: If the software does not support the Delete or Void feature, delete the batch, offline all transactions correctly, and then re-transmit.
