RB 314/F14 - Security code not valid

Security Code is a five-character, alphanumeric field restricting merchant activities. The system validates the data element type of this field.

The security code is incorrect.
  1. Correct the security code and retain the batch.
  2. Perform a partial download and re-transmit the batch.

The terminal data for this field is corrupt.

Verify the security code in the terminal.

  • If valid, retain the batch and re-transmit.
  • If invalid, correct the security code in the terminal and re-transmit.
