RB B19/C19/G19/H19 - Invalid Service Indicator

The Payment Service Indicator is a one-character alphanumeric field that contains Service Indicator value returned in the authorization response for transactions. Sierra validates the usage of Service Indicator for PS2K application with the following format:

Y is set in the Service Indicator field for request validation on REPS transactions.
A is received in the message response if transaction request is approved.
N is received in the message response if transaction request is not approved.

Possible Cause

Solution

A transaction has an incorrect or invalid Service Indicator.

Delete the transaction that invoked an RB.
Offline the corrected transaction and re-transmit.

Note: If the delete feature is not available, delete the batch, offline corrected transactions, and re-transmit.
