RB D07 - Invalid cardholder identification code

Cardholder Identification Code is a one-character, alphanumeric field indicating the method used to identify the cardholder. The value used must be the same as the one supplied in the Authorization Request Message field.

Possible Cause

Solution

A transaction has an incorrect or invalid authorization transaction code.

Delete the transaction that caused the RB.
Offline the corrected transaction and re-transmit.

If the Delete feature is not available, delete the batch, offline corrected transactions, and re-transmit.

The system validates that the Cardholder Identification Code corresponds to the following format:
