RB D13 - Transaction sequence number non-numeric or incorrect

Transaction Sequence Number is a four-digit, numeric code generated by the terminal as a sequence number for transactions and is used to identify the transactions included in the batch. This field should range between 0001-9999. The system validates the data element type and length of this field.

Possible Cause

Solution

A transaction has an incorrect or invalid transaction sequence number.

  1. Delete the transaction that caused the RB.
  2. Offline the corrected transaction and re-transmit.

If the Delete (void) feature is not available, delete the batch, offline the corrected transactions, and re-transmit.
