RB D39 - Room rate amount non-numeric or invalid

Room Rate Amount is a 12-digit, numeric field containing the daily room rate amount. It is right-justified on the terminal and must be zero-filled.

The value of this field must be 000000000001-000009999999.
This field is optional on all card types except AMEX and may be set to zero.
For AMEX cards, this field must be greater than zero and less than or equal to $999.99 if the Charge Type field is set to 1.
The system validates the data element type and length of this field.

Possible Cause

Solution

A transaction has an incorrect or invalid room rate amount.

Delete the transaction that caused the RB.
Offline the corrected transaction and re-transmit.

f the Delete feature is not available, delete the batch, offline corrected transactions, and re-transmit.
